Translation of Shakespeare play synopses into 6 languages to increase inclusivity for a multi-cultural audience
Bard on the Beach welcomes guests from all over the world. Coupled with Vancouver’s culturally-diverse makeup, in 2024 we expanded our accessibility initiatives to include language. French interpreting + closed captioning for global conference for women entrepreneurs
For our 2024 (un)Summit in Vancouver, we were grateful to collaborate with Arvorei for all of our French interpretation for our event live stream broadcast and our in-person event closed captioning. The Project: Coralus hosted its (un)Summit and international gathering of its community in May 2024 in Vancouver. As inclusion and accessibility are top priorities for this organization supporting women and non-binary entrepreneurs, they partnered with Arvorei for language & accessibility services. A team of four French interpreters translated the virtual event livestream, while closed captioning was provided for the in-person event at the NEST at University of British Columbia.

Having designed their product manuals in English, using In-Design, ODG needed a translation partner who could not only create the Spanish versions, but also make any required design adaptations, given Spanish is about 25% longer than English.
